Carla Turcotte made her film debut under the insightful direction of Rafaël Ouellet in New Denmark. She also appeared in Camion, L’affaire Dumont, Amsterdam, and Sashinka — a role that earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the 7th Canadian Screen Awards and a nomination for the Prix Iris for Best Actress at the 21st Gala du cinéma québécois. On television, she landed several roles, notably Marie-Jeanne in Les Sioui-Bacon and Johanne in Blue Moon . She also appeared in the series Tactik and 30 vies, and more recently in the final season of L’Auberge du chien noir as well as Unité 9.
